So I just turned 22 about a week ago. Twenty-two is my favorite number, so I'm expecting great things of this year. It's started off pretty well :]
I got a 13 piece knife set for my birthday from the hubs. We've been eating our steaks and porkchops with butter knifes up until now haha. It's amazing how well these new knifes cut through meat, or maybe it's just amazing compared to how well butter knifes cut through it..who knows.

My husband just got finished making some sugar cookies, and I'm about to make some chocolate chip cookies. That's 48 cookies in all, and I have to take some to work this time. We don't need to eat all 48 of those. We made a batch on Saturday too (24 cookies) and we already ate them all. That can't be good for one's health, but HEY it is Christmas time, so it's okay to eat a buttload of cookies around the holidays. :]

Work is going great. We have a new girl now, and I'm training her how to do my job, because I will be switching jobs and becoming the receptionist.

We are leaving to go home to Alabama in 2 weeks!! Well less than 2 weeks now! I'm so excited. I cannot wait to see my family and friends and my neice whom I have only seen 2 times. She is going to be all grown up before I know it. I also get to see my old doggy Angel. Or ANGELina Jolie for long. It's just fun to yell "Angelina Jolie, quit rubbing your butt on the carpet!!"

Well better go, the cookies are beeping :] Nummy nummy!

Step One
* Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. List your 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ.

Step Two
* Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call.
* There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
